The
Road to Super Bowl XLVIII
In
under a month we’ll be starting the long road to the Super Bowl. Below I’ll
tell you what I think the final standings will look like. I will also try to
predict the playoff matchups between both Conferences.
Expect
the NFC to beat each other up all season. It will be a wild ride to the
playoffs. The Giants and 49ers will both get off to slow starts. By mid
October, I think they will both get on a roll. Seattle and San Fran will be in
a first place battle all year. Expect Dallas to just fall short of a playoff berth.
The
AFC, I think it is more predictable, with most of the same teams returning to
the playoffs. I think Houston and Kansas City will be fast out of the gate.
Kansas City will just hold on to a wild card spot, while Houston will win their
Division. Baltimore will battle their way to the other wild card spot, just
edging out Pittsburgh.
